Meeting called to

Adjust agenda-
The agenda was adjusted due to the notification of a community
forum to be held on October 9, 2007 with the architects
responsible for the renovations of Huntertown Elementary. The
council needed to meet with the architects to gain a basic
understanding of the renovations prior to the community forum.
Motion to accept the agenda as amended made by Robert Stromberg,
seconded by Sharon Willmarth.

Minutes from the
previous meeting were reviewed and amended. Motion to accept the
minutes as amended was made by Debbie Webb, seconded by Becky
Hewlett.

Reports- *Comments for reports to be made at next months
meeting.

Architect report-
The architects provided the SBDM Council with a preview of the
presentation to be given at the October 9, 2007 community forum.

Test Report-
Huntertown made NCLB. The district is Tier 2- the Middle School
did not meet NCLB. PAS results were discussed- the percentage of
students scoring Novice has been reduced. In the Huntertown
Reading Recovery program, 15 of the 16 students exited the
program.

4th
grade field trip- Mrs. Parker-Brown read a letter addressed to
the Woodford County Board of Education requesting permission to
attend an overnight field trip to the zoo. The SBDM Council gave
their permission for the field trip. Motion to approve the field
trip was made by Terri Tonges, seconded by Sharon Willmarth.
